Welcome to the Dragonflies class! This is an exciting time in your child’s development, where curiosity soars, imaginations blossom, and new skills are mastered. At this stage, children are ready to dive into more structured activities while still having fun and exploring their world in their own unique ways.

The Dragonflies classroom is designed for toddlers between 30 and 36 months. Here, we offer a perfect balance of guided learning, creative play, and nurturing support to help your child build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

🌟 Meet Mrs. Brittney Magee

We are thrilled to have Mrs. Brittney Magee as the lead teacher in our Dragonflies class!

Mrs. Brittney joined Rainbow Childcare Center in February 2024, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a deep passion for early childhood education. Her gentle yet structured teaching style is perfect for this age group, as she fosters a sense of security while encouraging growth and independence.

With her kind and patient approach, Mrs. Brittney creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere where children feel safe to explore, make mistakes, and try new things. She understands the unique needs of toddlers and tailors her teaching to ensure that every child thrives.

🦄 What to Expect in the Dragonflies Room

  • Structured Learning: We provide a balance of structure and flexibility, giving children the routines they thrive on while allowing room for creative exploration and problem-solving.

  • Early Academic Foundations: Through hands-on activities like simple math games, letter recognition, and storytelling, your child will build the skills that form the foundation for future learning.

  • Social and Emotional Growth: This is the time when children begin forming stronger friendships, practicing sharing, and learning how to manage their emotions. Mrs. Brittney helps guide them through this with empathy, respect, and encouragement.

  • Creative Expression: Whether it’s painting, dancing, or imaginative play, the Dragonflies have ample opportunities to express themselves and discover new talents.

  • Fostering Independence: We encourage self-help skills like using utensils, dressing themselves, and following simple directions. This helps boost confidence and sets the stage for school readiness.

💬 Open Communication

We know that staying connected is important, especially during these important developmental years. Mrs. Brittney makes it a priority to keep parents informed with daily updates, progress reports, and plenty of opportunities to discuss your child’s development. Whether it’s a new word or a new skill, we love to celebrate each milestone with you.
