🌍 Explorers Class (3-Year-Olds)

Welcome to the Explorers class! At this age, curiosity is in full bloom, and your child is eager to discover the world around them. In the Explorers classroom, we foster a sense of wonder, creativity, and independence, all while laying the foundation for lifelong learning.

The Explorers class is designed for children who are 3 years old, offering an enriching environment where children can begin to master new skills, build friendships, and explore a variety of fun and educational activities. It’s all about learning through play, discovery, and a little bit of adventure!

🌟 Meet Mrs. Kaitlin Glapion

We’re thrilled to have Mrs. Kaitlin Glapion as the lead teacher in our Explorers class!

Mrs. Kaitlin joined Rainbow Childcare Center in May 2023 as a floater, where she gained a deep understanding of our center’s environment and routines. Since then, she has transitioned into a full-time teacher, bringing her warm, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to the classroom.

Her journey here at Rainbow reflects her natural ability to connect with children and her passion for guiding them through their early years. Mrs. Kaitlin is dedicated to helping children discover their world, and she creates an environment where every child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn.

🧭 What to Expect in the Explorers Room

  • Hands-On Learning: We believe in learning through experience. In the Explorers class, your child will explore a variety of sensory activities, creative projects, and interactive lessons that stimulate their curiosity and encourage problem-solving.

  • Building Social Skills: As 3-year-olds start to develop stronger social bonds, Mrs. Kaitlin fosters a community where children practice cooperation, sharing, and communicating with one another.

  • Creative Expression: From arts and crafts to music and dramatic play, our Explorers have plenty of opportunities to express themselves creatively and build confidence in their abilities.

  • Early Academic Foundations: We lay the groundwork for future learning by introducing simple concepts in literacy, numbers, and shapes in fun, engaging ways that make learning feel like an adventure.

  • Developing Independence: Children in the Explorers class are encouraged to take on small tasks independently, whether it’s choosing an activity, cleaning up after themselves, or following simple instructions. This helps build confidence and prepares them for school readiness.

💬 Open Communication with Parents

We understand how important it is for parents to stay connected and informed. Mrs. Kaitlin keeps communication open with daily updates, photos, and progress reports. We make sure you’re always in the loop about your child’s development and the fun activities they’re exploring.
