Welcome to the Lil Saints class! This is an exciting time for your child, full of curiosity, energy, and growing independence. At age 3, children are becoming more social, confident, and ready to explore the world around them with new enthusiasm. Our Lil Saints classroom is designed to nurture this stage with fun, structured learning that builds on each child’s natural curiosity.
The Lil Saints class is for children who are 3 years old, and it’s all about preparing them for the next step in their educational journey while still keeping the fun alive. We focus on developing the skills that set the foundation for lifelong learning, while encouraging independence, creativity, and a love for discovering new things.
We are delighted to have Ms. Kelsey Weary leading our Lil Saints class!
Ms. Kelsey joined Rainbow Childcare Center in August 2023, and we’re lucky to have her as part of our team. She brings a unique blend of discipline, dedication, and warmth to her teaching, having served in the U.S. Air Force before transitioning into early childhood education. With an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Ms. Kelsey is equipped with the knowledge and passion to support each child’s growth and development.
Her teaching style is gentle yet firm, creating a structured environment where children know what to expect, feel secure, and are encouraged to take on new challenges. Ms. Kelsey’s background in the military has taught her the value of teamwork, respect, and consistency — and she brings all of those qualities to the classroom every day.
Structured Learning: The Lil Saints class focuses on academic and social readiness. Your child will engage in activities that help build early literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills — all while having fun!
Social Skills & Friendship: At this stage, children are learning to communicate more effectively with their peers. Ms. Kelsey fosters an environment where cooperation, kindness, and respect are a big part of daily interactions.
Creative Exploration: From arts and crafts to music and movement, the Lil Saints class is full of opportunities for your child to express themselves creatively and discover new interests.
Developing Independence: With age-appropriate activities, your child will practice skills like following simple directions, taking care of their belongings, and completing small tasks on their own. This promotes confidence and prepares them for the next step in their education.
Building Routine & Responsibility: A structured day with clear expectations helps children feel secure and understand what’s coming next. It also teaches responsibility, as children begin to take ownership of tasks like tidying up, setting the table for snacks, and taking turns during activities.
At Rainbow Childcare Center, we believe in open communication between parents and teachers. Ms. Kelsey makes it a priority to update you on your child’s progress with daily reports, pictures, and regular check-ins. You’ll always know what your child is learning, how they’re developing, and when those exciting milestones happen!
